I am selling my Savage Model 12 Tactical rifle, in 6.5 Creedmoor. This rifle has the 26″ heavy fluted and crowned barrel, and 5 round detachable magazine. The action is very smooth and crisp 2 lb safety trigger, with a jeweled bolt w proper tactical charging handle. The stock is the black stippled finish benchrest stock and of course the barrel is free-floated.
The glass is the superb Steiner T5Xi3-15x 50 w quick magnification ring/level, extended sun-tube and proper flip-cover, mounted on Warne Tactical mid-level rings and a 10 MOA elevated base for those long shots. I have also added a accu-stop Mono Pod and an adjustable Harris Series 1A2 bipod for full three-point stability in the field or at the range.
This is an excellent long-range tactical rifle, and if offered with a Plano hard case, Leupold RX1200i TBR laser range finder, Nikon Prostaff 3 16-48 spotting scope w tripod and all original manuals.
The rifle is in great condition and is an excellent shooter. At the CoA range I have consistently hit the 750 yard 3 x 10 steel and occasionally the golf ball, hitting the 10 inch steel at 215 yards is child’s play.
The rifle was purchased new in 2016 for $1500 at Ron Peterson’s, the glass was purchased at Sportsman’s Warehouse for just under $2000, so the base value is over $3500 even before the accessories are added and the scope mounted/balanced, etc.; total value is easily over $4200, so I believe my price of $3250 is very reasonable. You won’t find a complete ready-to-work tactical/long-range rifle package like this very often, and certainly not at this price.
